Starbucks PH to Release Strawberry Honey Blossom Cream on March 20
Starbucks Philippines is set to release the Strawberry Honey Blossom Cream drink on March 20. Maybe Starbucks heard our plea to have an official Pink Drink so they came up with something that will welcome the summer season perfectly.
Taking inspiration from the Japanese cherry blossoms, the Strawberry Honey Blossom Cream is pink throughout with a white bottom layer. This drink’s whipped cream is topped with pink pearls and perhaps candied fruit or biscuit.
Upon further research, we found out that this Strawberry Honey Blossom Cream frappuccino started in only two countries in Asia as part of Starbucks’ Spring 2018 line of limited edition drinks. It debuted last February 27 and was only available in Thailand and Hong Kong. It soon made its way to Singapore and on March 20, the Philippines.
On Starbucks Singapore’s website, this beautiful pink drink is “Strawberries and milk blended together with ice before being layered onto fluffy honey-flavored whipped cream. More honey-flavored whipped cream tops off the drink, along with a sprinkle of freeze-dried strawberries and crunchy pink rice puff.”
Bustle reports that the drink is a mix of sweet and sour flavors, all balanced with the creamy layers.
Starbucks Philippines’ Strawberry Honey Blossom Cream was announced through their official Facebook page on March 16 through a video teaser showing what looks like cherry blossom leaf and petals. The drink will be available only for a limited time from March 20, Tuesday. It will be available in all Starbucks Philippines stores nationwide.
